Munoz Mexican Grill

Great prices and portions, excellent happy hour specials, and one of the most consistently quality wait staffs I've ever encountered. Everyone is always so personable and very likable. For the service alone, I would recommend it, but it doesn't hurt at all they have big, delicious food and reasonably priced margaritas that aren't too shabby. Check it out!

Perfect food, big portions, nice atmosphere, good service, if your just looking for a good Mexican restaurant this is the perfect place. Me and my family come here often or get to go orders, we absolutely love this place and this is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants.

Just left MUNOZ, 05-05-25.... The amigo had an attitude, I guess because he was over-seated; came to my table and said, “What you want”! Ordered a Strawberry and Pina Colada margarita, 20 minutes had passed, got the Strawberry, but didn’t get the other one! When I asked him about it, he says, harshly, I’m busy man, I’ve got other tables... Vale, amigo mio, mantente ocupado. Porque no estoy pagando por nada en esta mesa.

Munoz is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town! Some of the best food and the best margaritas. The salsa is delicious and goes great with the chorizo dip (or plain cheese dip is chorizo isn’t your thing!) I used to always love the #39 Munoz Special with steak (steak over rice with cheese), but lately I’ve been moving on.. a little more plain and basic but you can’t go wrong with the beef soft tacos (add grilled onion if you’re feeling wild).. and I know it’s not really Mexican cuisine but sometimes I’m just craving chicken fingers and with as wild as it sounds... Munoz has some of THE best chicken fingers!!!! I’m not an avocado lover so the chicken soup isn’t for me, but I’ve never seen anyone order it and not love it!! The beef and steak burrito are also both amazing. I’ve never had something here I didn’t love and if you do - the staff is amazing and will fix it for you. They have great deals on margaritas. Amazing happy hour deals Monday-Thursday. (Also the half and half margaritas are so good - half frozen, half on the rocks... don’t knock it until you try it!!!) Noe is mine and my friends favorite server (we always ask for him if he’s there) but they’re all amazing. Sophia up from is great but again they all are. They make you feel like family.

Fresh, hot, sizzling food! Large portions! Better than the Munoz in Pinson and better than Mexicali Blues down the road! Great service. Has heated patio. The salsa is fresh and amazing!
